18:36:59 Mar 16th 08 - Mr. Killer: Right... Basically, there is 2 teams. One's on one island, and the other is on another island. You have to collect food and other resources, build stuff, make weapons, and kill the other team.(This isn't like Revenge's islands thread... Only the very basics, and in this you have to kill the other team...) There are a few different races, then there is sub-races for each of the races. You can collect certain amounts of each of the resources, differing for each of the races and subraces. You get five guys each, of one race, can be any of the sub-races, but not of other races. There will be an amount of people on each team, it will have to be even. Your team will be random, and there will be a team-captain for both teams, but you don't have to do as s/he says, but the others might gang up on you if necessary. I'd appreciate if you didn't try and kill your own team... So, you pick a race, and they have various traits and bonuses. The skills used in this game are: Fighting, Defending, Foraging(Looking for food), Lumbering(Getting wood), Mining(getting ores), Furnacing(Chaning ores to meatls, don't ask me how they got a furnace on the island, they just do...), Building and Guarding(Looking out for attacking creatures during the night and such). You start off with a few tools, then you have to make the others. The races are as follows... Humans(Including ogres, orcs, and were-beasts as sub-races), Elves(Including river elves, wood elves and dark elves as sub-races), Trolls(With various types of rock-trolls, such as limestone, coal and such(only examples, probably won't be used), Halflings(Including Hobbits, Dwarfs and Gnomes as sub-races). I'm just going to see how many sign-up, before I actually start it. At least 6 people. I'll join too if to keep it even-numbered. I'll explain it more later. Sign-ups...

I won't mention the weapons, as there will be quite a few, and some will give bonuses to some of the race, e.g. bows to elves. Humans(The most average race) - Ogre(Big and stupid, good at fighting and lumbering, bad at everything else), Orc(Medium-sized, awesome fighters, bad at everything else), Were-beasts(Average fighters during the day, brilliant fighters at night, good look-outs, poor builders and smiths and crafters, good foragers), Humans(Average everything) Elves(Poor fighters, but good at everything else) - River elves(Good foragers, poor fighters), Wood Elves(Good lumberers, poor miners and fighters), Dark Elves(Good miners, poor lumberers and fighters), Star Elves(They're astronomers... Good at everything but fighting, which they are atrocious at...) I'll do the others when I've decided what stone to use for trolls... There'll be a map if you REALLy want one...

Worse defenders and better attackers than average), Granite Trolls(Mainly made of SiO2(Silicon Dioxide). Better defenders and poorer attackers than average), Diamond Trolls(Mostly made of C(Carbon). Much better defenders than the rest, incapable of using weapons though, and incapable of getting any resources or building...), Chalk Trolls(Made of.. made of... Something... Worse fighters but better at everything else towards other trolls) I'll do the halflings either later of tomorrow...

Weapons will come later(I'll try not to make too many, as it wastes my time, sort of..., and is pointless and boring to read through) The weapons are added to the defence/offence points. Weapons are pretty useful, maybe a bronze short sword would give 5 attack, and bronze armour would give 5 defence. You can only carry one ranged weapon, one mélée weapon, one shield and one armour. Some (sub)races cannot use certain weapons or armours. 17:49:51 Mar 19th 08 - Mr. Killer: Ok, there is 3 metals, 4 ores and 5 woods. All weapons and tools and such can be made from each metal or wood, it will just be stronger or weaker depending on the wood/metal, and it will take longer to make weapons made of better metals/woods. From worst material to best material... Ores = Copper, Tin, Iron, Coal. Metals = Bronze(Made of 1 copper and 1 tin ore), Iron(Made of 3 iron ore), Steel(Made of 3 iron and 1 coal ore. They probably wouldn't be able to super-heat the iron, so they're using coal instead for carbon...) Wood = Birch, Rowan, Maple, Willow(Weeping), Yew (Please tell me if this is right, I'm not sure about their strengths) Pick-axes are needed to mine ores, and axes to chop wood(You could probably pick up enough, but...). Furnaces are needed to change ores into metals, but fortunately you already have one of those per team... You've also get a hammer and an anvil to batter the metal. Bronze pick-axes can mine Tin, Copper & Iron. Iron pick-axes can mine Tin, Copper, Iron & Coal quicker. Steel pick-axes can do it quicker again. Bronze axes can cut Birch & Rowan. Iron axes can cut Maple & Willow as well, quicker. Steel axes can cut Yew as well, quicker again. You start witha bronze axe & pick-axe per team.
